Updating your Apple computer to the software version “Big Sur” will likely cause connection issues when trying to connect over USB. We are working to get this issue resolved but in the meantime see below for another way to connect to your machine.

Pocket NC Network Connection 12/7/20 - Changed to Big Sur connection instructions

Users running Big Sur on their Apple computer will need to do two things to ensure USB connection to the Pocket NC machine:

  1. Update to the latest Pocket NC software version. Steps to do so can be found here.

  2. Connect to the machine using the IP address 192.168.6.2 (instead of the original 192.168.7.2 address).
